Groundwork has two separate and complementary giving circles that provide the financial support necessary to pursue its mission of promoting bold solutions for Michigan's people and places.
The Milliken Circle, established in 2003, honors Governor William and Helen Milliken's outstanding tradition of stewardship, and ensures that Institute programs have the staffing and resources necessary for long-term viability. Members are honored at the annual Milliken Reception, enjoy complimentary tickets to select Groundwork events, and receive personal updates throughout the year from the executive director.
The Sustainer Circle, established in 2012, ensures the consistent support for Groundwork operations on a year-to-year basis. Members guarantee that the Institute's innovative programs flourish, receive an invitation to the annual Milliken Reception, and obtain advance invitations to other Groundwork events throughout the year.
