Northern Michigan activists march in historic NYC rally

September 22, 2014 | |

MLUI staff members were among 56 northern Michigan climate activists to travel to New York City this past weekend for the largest climate rally in history.

They contributed to an overwhelming 400,000 people from around the world to demand action from our leaders on climate change.

MLUI Program Director Jim Lively described the day as “one of the most emotionally invigorating, exhilarating days I’ve ever had.”
